Manager Stuart Kohler said that the first-half performance last week against Yorkshire showed that we have a group of players with good potential for development.

“Our squad were, however, taught a rugby lesson in the second half by a strong Yorkshire team who played for the full 70 minutes.”

This week Lancashire have had to juggle again with injuries, illnesses and club commitments, but this will give the Lancashire Coaches the chance to start some players who either did not play last week or did not start.

“We expect a difficult game against Cheshire and I am sure that this group of Lancashire players will want to stake their claim for a position in next seasons’ U18 squad”

The game kicks off at 2pm and supporters are very welcome to attend
