Good news for some of our Clubs. After bids by Thirty Lancashire Clubs ten have been recommended to go forward to the NatWest Rugby Force Workshops and will receive a Grant of £500.
Three clubs have been successful out of 48 Clubs considered Nationally in the Keith Kent, RFU Groundsman Pitch Maintenance program and will receive a visit from Keith for an inspection of playing surfaces as well and £2,000 to implement his recommendations. They are Littleborough RUFC, Vale of Lune RFC and Ormskirk RUFC they are to be congratulated on their successful application.
Garstang RUFC and Clitheroe RUFC have been successful in receiving a grant from the Rugby Football Foundation Garstang from Emergency Funds to provide a new Boiler after recent Flood damage and Clitheroe to improve the grounds and club due to increased activity.
